Grateful for the mouthful

Teach me how to linger,
show me that nothing exists
outside the circumference of
your arms, help me to learn to
measure time in deep moans
and soft sighs, and when noon
has turned to night, write your
favorite things in the pores of my
skin and kiss them into my mouth.
