I heard this first while watching the most recent episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Absolutely in love with this. The original version is by Lissie, this version is by Sleeping At Last.
Excited to see this!
Who said that a movie should be uber complicated to be marvelous?
This is one of the most poignant, quaint, simplest, magnificent movies I have seen in a while.
It won Best Director and Best Picture in the recent Oscar Awards. This is definitely a must-see.
This is probably one of my most favorite series ever. At first I thought I might not enjoy it, it being probably teeny-bopper themed, but I was wrong. And although no matter how I prayed (lol I know) that Hannah didn’t kill herself, I understood that it was an integral part of where the story revolves in the first place.
I really wish that more teens would watch this series. It’s sensitive and very timely, in a world where fitting in gets harder everyday. It reminds me of my highschool years. I was happy, I was with good friends who were both engrossed in school, as well as friendship. We were actually doing well in school, and slaying the social scene. We were like popular nerds, if you will lol. Well, enough about me.
The music selection is as beautiful and as intuitive as the series. Listen to a few of my favorites:
NOTE: If you want to download the mp3s, you can just right-click on the title of the song and then save to your device.
I’ve always believed that when it comes to music, you don’t really need to understand the words, you just need to feel it. So yeah, I do not understand Hindi. But when I first heard Baarish, which is the first track in this playlist, it tugged at my heart strings.
Hoping I’d be able to find a copy of the movie with english subtitles. Soon!

If there was a movie I’ve been so excited to see in a long while, it’s Wonder Woman. I’ve loved Gal Gadot ever since I saw her in Fast & Furious. She has this exotic, foreigner beauty that just pulls me!
I’m surprised that its just recently that people came up with a Wonder Woman origin story. There has been movies and series devoted to the other Justice League characters, but not her. I remember watching Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman when I was a kid. Lol yes I am that old! She had the most tantalizing eyes. I’m sure Gal Gadot felt the pressure to live up to her shoes, but she did it well.
The first lesson I learned was never to wait for a man’s rescue. History is written by the survivors, and I am surely that.
– Catherine de Medici, from the TV series REIGN
I just came across this series last weekend and was saddened that it was ending. So I’ve started a marathon for Season 1 when I came across one of the lines of Catherine de Medici. She takes no nonsense from anyone, she’s definitely one of my favorites.
My current obsession: from the Korean series “Goblin”. More to come ❤
What’s in a name?
With me having a common name like me: Marie – you’d think that the baristas at Starbucks would spell my name right. You’d be surprised!! My name has been spelled as “Murray,” “Maree,” “Mari.” I know right?!?
I saw this image online and found it to be hilarious. If Game of Thrones characters were living in real life, this would be one of their struggles lol.
